About Us

Hi! I’m Kallen—mom, artist, and founder of The Pink Picket Fence.

After a decade in corporate marketing, I left to build something closer to home—both literally and emotionally. I’m a mom and artist, and I launched The Pink Picket Fence to turn my hand-painted art into texture-sensitive clothing for girls with big personalities and even bigger imaginations.

The idea started with a meltdown: my daughter couldn’t stand the feel of most store-bought clothes. Around the same time, she was in a full-blown dinosaur phase—constantly sketching and naming her favorite dinos. Inspired by her obsession (and the sensory struggle), I created a custom dino print from my own hand-painted artwork, turning it into super-soft leggings she could actually wear. That moment sparked our entire line—clothing designed with and for kids, especially those with sensory sensitivities.

Each piece starts as a painting with my daughters and ends as a tag-free, ultra-soft outfit that transforms chaotic mornings into confident ones. We focus on comfort-first playwear with big color and big heart—because kids deserve clothes that feel like a hug and let them express who they are.

We’ve grown quickly since launching last year, gaining traction on Amazon and now securing a national partnership with Target+, our first major retail channel. But the opportunities are matched by challenges: scaling manufacturing, maintaining quality, and reaching more families while keeping our brand personal and values-driven.
